i have lived on that river all my life and still do today and there would have to be signs of them.. especially if it is that big.. more sitings.. jjust more evidence than one picture that nobody can actually prove.. but it is kinda freaky to think about letting my kiddoes swim down there with a picture like this floatin around out there!!

First of all anything is possible. Second of all just think about all the possible ways a snake of this size could have gotten to this location. I'm not saying picture is real I am just saying it woudn't hurt to take precautions. It is better to be open minded and cautious than to be closed minded and ignorant to the situation.

I have been around the sabine 30+ yrs. I'm not saying this story is true or false. something that comes to mind is all the ships that would dock in Orange. all the sailors were of some Latino speaking origin. it would not surprise me if some snake or animal not indigenous to the area was carried over. shocking and scary yes but not far fetched.

If you watch the discovery channel you would know they not only find snakes like these in the swamps and marshlands of louisiana but find large amounts of them in the everglades just recently they foun a nest of black mambas there wich are native to australia and is considered one of the deadliest snakes in the world people import these snakes illeagally and eventually release them into the wild it would not surprise me if this photo is not only real but one of many that may come.

Anacondas can reach to over 30 feet in length and Pythons can reach to over 20 feet so yall might wanna do a little more research. Because yes those snakes can reach that size and plus some!! People do own anacondas in this area, it could have escaped or owner let it go, i'm not saying this photo is real but i am saying snakes can reach lengths to their environment. So if you have a already large snake, just imagine how large they can get?!?!

that is a green anaconda they can reach up to 20ft plus they known for being the heaviest snakes in the world but not from around here however someone could had this as a pet and decided to let it go in the sabine river which runs through newton county so but is real well cant tell you . pictures theses days can be crop and placed anywhere. is it possible yes the snake could be real and couldve been a pet and yes it couldve been sabine river but the news would ve cover this story for sure
